The apartment was beautifully decorated and very clean. The shower was amazing, with great water pressure. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the historic center and central piazza.
I did not enjoy the fact that it was not an actual hotel, but rather a converted apartment. I was expecting a more traditional hotel experience.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice modern design. the location of the hotel was great, as it was within walking distance to many attractions and amenities. the breakfast provided a good variety of food options.
The lack of an elevator made it difficult to carry luggage up two flights of stairs. This was quite inconvenient, especially for travelers with heavy bags.

As older guests, we appreciated the exceptional concept of having breakfast available all day long, just like at home. the variety of lactose-free food provided for my husband was a thoughtful touch. Anna's attention to detail, from picking us up at the station to assisting with our itinerary, made us feel at ease. the apartment was spacious, well-decorated, and impeccably clean. Its close proximity to the old town allowed us to easily explore on foot. the breakfast spread included delicious treats like apple pie, cake, cookies, fresh juice, and coffee. Anna's remarkable hospitality and the comfortable accommodations make Frammenti a highly recommended 6-star experience.
Felt like a home away from home, with nothing too much trouble.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Frammenti. We were in Matera for a few days to explore the city, and the hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of everything. The room was immaculate and very comfortable, and we appreciated the small details like the coffee machine and tart in the dining area. The proprietor, Anna, was incredibly charming and helpful. She even provided us with bus tickets for a guided tour of the city. we had a fantastic experience at Frammenti and would highly recommend it.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.
